PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hunter Flagg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parker comes into the arena with Bring the Pain blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Danny Parker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hunter Flagg!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker looks to score with a jab to the body but Flagg is just out of range.
Parker shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Flagg but Flagg pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Parker could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Parker tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Flagg swivels and escapes.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Parker lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Flagg has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Flagg and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Parker throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Hunter Flagg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick misses from Parker.
Parker misses with a head kick.
Flagg ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Parker moves away.
Flagg swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Parker changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Flagg avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Parker motions for Flagg to come forward. Parker throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Parker shoots in for a double leg but Flagg sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Danny Parker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Flagg throws a sloppy head kick
and Parker counters with a low kick, right behind Flagg 's knee.
Parker tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Parker takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

It looks like Danny Parker has been cut.
Flagg connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Parker momentarily.
Flagg fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Parker square on the jaw! Damn, Parker is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
