PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Benny Abrahamsson (ranked 4033 p4p, 3667 weight class) and Curtis Barrett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Curtis Barrett told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abrahamsson leaves Barrett with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Barrett closes the distance and clinches up with Abrahamsson, looking for a takedown. Barrett pushes Abrahamsson against the cage but Abrahamsson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Barrett is trying hard to land a takedown here. Abrahamsson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Abrahamsson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
