The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Vegas connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Vegas is trying to escape back to his feet but Ratinho uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Ratinho throws an elbow but Vegas slips to the side and avoids it well.

Ratinho thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Ratinho throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Ratinho postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Vegas shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Ratinho eats them both and turns towards Vegas to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ratinho accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Ratinho closes the distance and clinches up with Vegas, looking for a takedown. Ratinho pushes Vegas against the cage but Vegas circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Vegas lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ratinho circles away quickly and effectively.

I would just about give that final round to Luccy Vegas.
