Loomis kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Strapping Young Lad - Anti Product. Jesus Christ struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 266.6lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Bob Loomis has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Christ gets the takedown into side control.

Christ tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Christ has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Christ tries for a kimura but Loomis is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Christ decides to stand back up.
Christ misses with a takedown attempt - Loomis sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Loomis bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Christ is trying to improve his position.
Christ looks gassed!
Loomis is chipping away with strikes.

It looks like Jesus Christ has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Check out the look on Loomis's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Loomis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Christ on the ground.
Christ takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Loomis is putting a hurting on Christ here, landing some big shots from side control.

Loomis scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Christ is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Loomis can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
