And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Akeen Coker!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Micheangelo Fripello and Paul Gruel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coker lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Archer circles away quickly and effectively.
Coker throws a head kick that misses.
Coker tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Archer was well out of range. Poor timing from Coker.
Coker dips to his left and cracks Archer with an uppercut!

Archer clinches up with Coker and pushes him back against the ropes.
Coker is trying to break the clinch but Archer is controlling him.
Coker looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Archer prevents Coker from breaking the clinch.

Coker breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Coker throws a hook but Archer blocks it.
Nice body punch from Archer.
Coker tries a head kick but it misses.

and Archer cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Akeen Coker has been cut.
Archer looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Archer looks to score with a jab to the body but Coker is just out of range.
Archer misses with a straight right.
A punch combination from Coker misses.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Archer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Coker manages to avoid it.

Coker uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Archer.
Archer misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Coker.
Archer swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Coker misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Archer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Coker moves away.
Archer closes the distance and catches Coker with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Coker is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Coker is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Coker is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Archer takes it!
