Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Connor Mcgregor (ranked 5865 p4p, 4152 weight class) and Diaper Don (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mcgregor closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Don quickly recovers to half guard.

Mcgregor really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Don is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.

Mcgregor jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Don manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Mcgregor wants to control but Don is keeping him busy.
Don should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Mcgregor takes a little break here. Don wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Don tries to improve position but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Don throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.

Mcgregor wants to lay and pray for a moment but Don keeps working.

Don is trying to reverse the position but instead Mcgregor has taken his back - oops!

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Don trying to control but not successfully.
Don might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Mcgregor haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
A lull in the action here.
Don looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Don won't enjoy being in this position. Mcgregor looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Don is tapping - it's over boys! Mcgregor picks up the submission victory!

Connor Mcgregor opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
