Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Reynaldo Haley!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Taro Takaoka and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haley shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Rocha counters with a straight right hand.
Rocha fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Haley takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Rocha with a hook.
Haley misses with a takedown
and Rocha counters with a nice body shot.
Rocha pushes Haley away with a front kick.
Rocha lands with a cross.

Rocha lands a big head kick that sends Haley tumbling to the mat! Rocha takes a step backwards and waves Haley back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Lewis Rocha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Haley chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Rocha can pounce on him.
Haley pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Rocha lands a big uppercut and Haley crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Haley looks OK. Rocha waves Haley back to his feet!

Haley gets a takedown into half guard.

Haley is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Rocha sees it coming and defends easily.

Haley seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rocha does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Rocha looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Rocha is looking for a sweep. Haley is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Rocha knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Haley on the ground.
Rocha desperately trying to maintain half guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Rocha stuffs the takedown.
Lewis Rocha has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Reynaldo Haley.
Rocha feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Haleys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Rocha feints a jab promting Haley to slip. Rocha then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Haley slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Rocha explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Rocha scores with a kick to the midsection.

Rocha lands a left and a right that send Haley crashing to the mat, dazed. Rocha thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Haley has his takedown stuffed

and Rocha counters with a nice right hand that sends Haley toppling to the canvas! Haley scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Rocha finish him?!
Haley is still on wobbly legs! Can Rocha finish him?

Rocha throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Haley seems to have recovered his senses.
Rocha feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Haley collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!

After winning the bout, Lewis Rocha thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
