The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a front kick that sends Muckerberg stumbling back into the ropes.

Muckerberg drives through and clinches with Smith against the ropes.
Smith misses with a punch to the body.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Muckerberg.

Smith breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Smith looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Muckerberg throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
An inside leg kick from Smith misses.
Smith throws a nice inside leg kick.
Muckerberg ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Muckerberg misses the shot to the body.
Smith needs to keep his hands up - Muckerberg had a free shot at his head there.
Smith uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Muckerberg.
Kai Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A cross from Muckerberg lands.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Muckerberg ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Smith wants to land a leg kick but Muckerberg is out of range.
Smith is looking to land body kicks.
Muckerberg attempts a counter takedown but Smith avoids it well and moves away.

We've been hearing reports that Muckerberg has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Muckerberg shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Smith eats them both and turns towards Muckerberg to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Smith throws a low kick, looking for Muckerberg's leg but Muckerberg calmly moves out of range.

Muckerberg misses with a looping right.
Smith unleashes a big counter combination but Muckerberg bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Muckerberg misses with an uppercut.
Smith doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Muckerberg lunges at Smith with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Smith's hand.
Muckerberg takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Smith thows a leg kick but Muckerberg checks it
and Muckerberg counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Muckerberg uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Smith.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A looping hook to the body misses from Smith. Muckerberg does a little dance to reset his feet.

Muckerberg shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Smith wants to get back to his feet.

Smith has left one of his arms exposed and Muckerberg doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Smith screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
