PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ray Punch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ithalo Foreman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Punch's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Get Knocked Out. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foreman tries to clinch but Punch moves out of range.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Punch.
Foreman can't do much from the bottom here.
Punch wants to stand but Foreman is controlling his arm.
Punch wants to lay and pray for a moment but Foreman keeps working.
Punch happy to just control the position for now.
Punch tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

You can see the frustration on Foreman's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Foreman is looking for a sweep.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Punch counters with a single leg into guard. Foreman didn't expect that.

Foreman is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Punch wants to control but Foreman is keeping busy.

Foreman is looking to take a break and control but Punch is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Punch looking to sit in guard and control but Foreman gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Foreman just misses with a punch to the body.

Punch closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Foreman lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Punch!
Punch tries to lock up and control but Foreman gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Foreman can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Punch is looking to escape.
Foreman unloads with some shots from mount but Punch bucks and avoids them well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
I really don't envy Punch right now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Foreman somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.
Foreman throwing wild punches that miss their target.

Foreman is cranking Punch's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Punch! He's tightened the choke and Punch is tapping out!
