Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hans Job!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Oscar Fernandes!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandes closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Job has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Fernandes is on him like a limpet, forcing Job back against the cage.

Fernandes thuds his right hand into Job's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
