Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kai Gold (ranked 1959 p4p, 904 weight class) and Lee Murray (ranked 212 p4p, 103 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kai Gold!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lee Murray !
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Illya Tyunina and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Gold pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Murray was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Kai Gold seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Gold.
Murray tries a quick counter leg kick but Gold is wise to it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gold unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Murray wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Gold celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kai Gold!
A very excited looking Kai Gold made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
