Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jirobo Okita (ranked 3983 p4p, 3928 weight class) and Zoltan Lazar (ranked 0 p4p, 396 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shirou Masuda and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okita shoots in looking for a takedown. Lazar tries to sprawl out of it but Okita keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lazar manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Lazar feints the counter takedown.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Okita.

Okita drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Okita thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Lazar controls Okita momentarily but Okita frees himself.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Okita tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lazar sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Okita somewhat.
Lazar wants to counter with a clinch but Okita pushes him away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jirobo Okita. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Okita seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lazar for as long as he can get away with.

Okita drops back looking for a leg! Lazar is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lazar manages to kick Okita off! Okita jumps back into Lazar's guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Okita manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Lazar on his heels. He'll look to pass Lazar's guard now, I'm sure.

Okita is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Lazar is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Lazar has escaped and now he's on top!

Okita looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Lazar is defending well. Okita quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Lazar has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Okita celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

A relieved looking Jirobo Okita thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
