The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Guy.
Guy throws a leg kick but Mann checks it.
Guy blocks the body kick.
Mann scores with a nice strike.
Guy misses with a leg kick.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Mann! But no joy.
Guy fails with an attempt to clinch.
Guy scores with a jab to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Guy shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mann as he jumps to the side.

Mann lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Guy throws out a leg kick but Mann moves out of range and Guy only half commits.
Mann scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Guy wants to clinch up but Mann keeps it at a distance.
Mann steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

Guy wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Mann throws a push kick but Guy slaps the foot to one side.
Guy misses with an uppercut. Mann saw that one coming.
A little jabbing left from Mann on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Mann takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Mann looks to land a body kick but Guy moved away.
Mann pushes Guy away with a front kick.
Mann works the jab nicely.
Medium Mann is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mann gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Guy makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Mann is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Guy.

Mann on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Guy appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

Guy tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Mann is able to avoid easily.

The fighters circling - Guy throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
And Mann responds with a good body kick, but Guy manages to step out the way in time.
Mann uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Guy.

Guy is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mann can do to turn this around?

Guy has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Mann after a bit of a struggle.

Guy has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Mann clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Mann is trying to get back to his feet but Guy has full control of the position and if anything, Mann has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Guy has his opponent's back but Mann is looking to stand. He manages to get to his feet and shakes off Guy.

Guy rushes Mann and presses him up against the cage.

Mann escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mann takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Guy moves out of range of the strikes.
Guy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A jab lands there for Mann.
Guy chopping away at his opponent's legs.

and Mann makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Guy really felt that one!

Mann throws a wild body kick that Guy sees coming a mile off.
Guy lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Guy shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mann defends it nicely.
Guy moves away from the strike by Mann.
Mann scores with a sloppy right hand. Guy should have avoided that one.
Guy fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Medium Guy.
I think Guy has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
