Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Meriwhether Lewis (ranked 4010 p4p, 25099 weight class) and Knockie Outie (ranked 0 p4p, 516 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Knockie Outie!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Outie closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Outie jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lewis walks away with a smile on his face. Outie gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Outie scores with a one two! Lewis had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Outie circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lewis lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Outie forces Lewis back against the cage and clinches.
Lewis looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Outie will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Lewis up against the cage.

Outie manages to break the clinch.
Outie throws a sloppy head kick and Lewis moves out of range easily.
Outie throws a right and a left that Lewis avoids nicely.
Outie pulls out of a head kick attempt.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Outie keeps the fight on the outside.
Lewis fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Outie throws a head kick that misses
and Lewis counters with a thumping low kick.

Lewis connects with a high kick.
Lewis tries to clinch but Outie moves out of range.
Lewis tries to clinch but Outie is having none of it.

Outie forces Lewis back against the cage and clinches.
Outie tries to break the clinch but Lewis is controlling the position.
With the fighters up against the cage, Lewis throws an elbow but misses.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Lewis obliges.
Lewis fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Outie breaks from the clinch.
Outie misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lewis lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Outie fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lewis, pushing him back against the cage.

Outie escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Outie takes the fight into the clinch.

Outie tries to pull guard but Lewis won't allow it.
Lewis has a couple of punches blocked by Outie.
Lewis tries a body shot but Outie blocks it.
Lewis lands a nice elbow.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lewis misses with a short punch on the inside.
Lewis unloads a knee to the mid-section. Outie lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Lewis tries to land knees in the clinch but Outie avoids the damage to the body.
Outie has Lewis pressed against the cage.
Lewis misses with a short punch on the inside.
Outie blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Lewis tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Outie's elbow.

Lewis is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Outie fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lewis, pushing him back against the cage.
Outie tries to pull guard but Lewis forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Meriwhether Lewis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Knockie Outie.
A bit of stalling here from Outie.
Lewis putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Outie in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

Outie wants to sweep here but Lewis controlling him for the moment.
Lewis is looking to work some ground and pound but Outie has wrist control.

Outie has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Lewis should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Outie has tightened it up now! Lewis should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
