This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 7 wins and 3 losses; Adriel Orozco! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 4 losses; Tony Lee!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.


Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious?
Orozco changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lee tries to avoid it but Orozco manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lee to the ground. Lee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Orozco tries for a takedown but Lee sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Lee has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Lee is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Orozco is just riding it out for now. Lee eventually gives up the hold.

Orozco has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Orozco takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Lee tries to roll over but Orozco keeps him under control.
Orozco is taking a breather. Lee says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Lee is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Orozco uses his free foot to push down on Lee's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Lee.

Orozco seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lee for as long as he can get away with.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
