Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cathal O Doherty (ranked 2605 p4p, 2654 weight class) and Domonic Dilbrandt (ranked 181 p4p, 187 weight class). Dilbrandt has chosen NO CHANCE as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dilbrandt ducks down and throws a hook to the body but O Doherty moves away.
Dilbrandt misses with the body kick
and O Doherty counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Domonic Dilbrandt has been cut.
Dilbrandt misses with a lunging right hand
and O Doherty counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A good leg kick by Dilbrandt.
O Doherty walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Dilbrandt comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
The fighters circle momentarily. Dilbrandt darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
O Doherty blocks a leg kick.
O Doherty slips a jab from Dilbrandt.
Dilbrandt waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract O Doherty.
An attempted straight right counter from O Doherty misses the target.
Dilbrandt swings for the body but O Doherty moves out of range.
O Doherty swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
O Doherty takes one to the side of the head.

A quick step to the side and O Doherty tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dilbrandt misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A counter left hand to the body from O Doherty misses its target.
O Doherty takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
O Doherty with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Dilbrandt to score with a decent uppercut.
O Doherty ducks right into an uppercut from Dilbrandt.
Dilbrandt throws a lazy body kick

and O Doherty counters with a crisp right hand that drops Dilbrandt! O Doherty lets Dilbrandt back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Dilbrandt ducks down and throws a hook to the body but O Doherty moves away.
O Doherty moves out of range of the strikes.
A quick step to the side and O Doherty tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dilbrandt uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before O Doherty has time to react.
Dilbrandt lands with a right hand.
Dilbrandt is looking to chop away at O Doherty's legs.
O Doherty was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

and O Doherty counters with a big right hand! Oh Dilbrandt is in trouble here! O Doherty follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

A less than humble Cathal O Doherty misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
In defeat, Domonic Dilbrandt stepped up to the mic, saying 'Damn Should Never Took That Massive Break'.
