The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thorn lands with a nice body kick.
Ubereem displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Thorn throws out the jab.

Ubereem scores with a head kick. Thorn tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

It looks like Haw Thorn has been cut.

Ubereem tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Thorn closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Thorn throws a sloppy head kick and Ubereem moves out of range easily.

Thorn drives through and clinches with Ubereem against the cage.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Thorn works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Thorn pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Thorn throws a nice looking combination but Ubereem bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ubereem flicks out a counter leg kick but Thorn steps away.

Thorn tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ubereem was well out of range. Poor timing from Thorn.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Ubereem steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Thorn. That one must have hurt.
Thorn is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ubereem can do to turn this around?

Ubereem takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Thorn cracks Ubereem with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Ubereem looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Thorn finish him?

That has opened up Alistair Ubereem's cut even more.

and Thorn rattles Ubereem with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Ubereem tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Thorn dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Ubereem stiff and motionless on the mat!
