Hunter kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is King of Curses. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nunes digs a good hook to Hunter's body.
Hunter walks into a straight right hand from Nunes.

It looks like Gordon Hunter has been cut.
Hunter on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Hunter is breathing heavily.

Hunter closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Nunes flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Nunes regains full guard. Nicely done.
Nunes controls Hunter momentarily but Hunter frees himself.
Nunes throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Nunes wants to sweep here but Hunter controlling him for the moment.
Nunes controls Hunter momentarily but Hunter frees himself.
Hunter wants to pass the guard but Nunes is keeping the position.
Nunes is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Nunes might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hunter haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Hunter looking to improve position, pressing down on Nunes's thigh with his hand. Nunes seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Hunter paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Hunter's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Nunes picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
