Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Le Petit Criss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Criss comes to the cage accompanied by La danse des canards. Ward has chosen Everything in its right place- Radio Head as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Mr Ward has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Le Petit Criss's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ward misses with a takedown attempt - Criss sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ward fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Criss rushes Ward and presses him up against the cage.

Le Petit Criss has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mr Ward.

Ward tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ward has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Ward manages to reverse the position and now he's in Criss's guard. Nice work there by Ward.

Criss escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ward gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ward advances to half guard.
Criss is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Ward has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Ward is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Criss can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ward takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.

Ward is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Criss defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Criss throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Ward stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Criss follows into mount!

Ward is rocked!

It looks like Mr Ward has been cut.
Ward is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Criss loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Ward scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Criss land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Criss stands and salutes the crowd.
