This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 58 wins and 49 losses; Shane MacGowan! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 8 losses; Stoned Nelson!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and Donald Grub.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Nelson shoots in for a takedown but MacGowan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Nelson has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

Nelson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so MacGowan is just riding it out for now. Nelson eventually gives up the hold.

Despite being in a bad position, Nelson is controlling the hands, preventing any submission attempts.
