Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jab Buddha (ranked 1016 p4p, 1651 weight class) and Lance Thorn (ranked 154 p4p, 223 weight class). Buddha's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Rhyme Asylum - Smoke Screens and Pipe Dreams. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thorn uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Buddha has time to react.

It looked like Buddha was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Thorn has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Buddha scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Oh Buddha is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Buddha loses concentration momentarily and Thorn pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Buddha crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Thorn finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
