Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Toby Herring (ranked 4060 p4p, 3475 weight class) and Joshua Opp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Opp has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Joshua Opp is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herring tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Opp paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Opp clinches up with Herring and pushes him back against the cage.
Opp looks winded!

Herring manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Herring is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Herring is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Opp is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Opp sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Herring's guard.
Herring is trying to get back to full guard.
Opp stops Herring from getting back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Opp seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Herring is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
