This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 2 losses; Jack Brittle! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 1 losses; Hung Young Wang!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Wang rushes Brittle and presses him up against the ropes.
Wang has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Brittle uses from the top position.
Brittle stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wang swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wang looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Brittle sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Wang doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Brittle paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Wang - great work!
