This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Summit Panda! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 1 losses; Hung Young Wang!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Sosuke Kotani.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Wang rushes Panda and presses him up against the ropes.
Panda decides to pull guard.
Wang is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Panda might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Let's hope that Wang has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
It looks like Wang might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Panda not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Wang looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Panda looking to control.
Panda is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Wang defends well.

Wang is stalling in the full guard.
Panda knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wang on the ground.

Wang's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Wang drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Wang jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Panda being controlled here, momentarily.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Panda is trying to push Wang off with his feet but Wang grabs hold of one of the legs and drops back looking for a submission! He's cranking on one of Panda's ankles and Panda is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaall over!
