Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jaxon Carter (ranked 4442 p4p, 4363 weight class) and Emerald Dream (ranked 487 p4p, 480 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jaxon Carter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Emerald Dream!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jonathan Paton and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Carter.
A countering left hand to the body from Dream misses.
No luck for Carter with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jaxon Carter. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Carter tries to close the distance and clinch but Dream swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dream clinches.
Dream is trying to drag Carter to the mat but Carter just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Dream struggles to land a body shot inside as Carter controls his hands.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Carter lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Carter has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Carter fails to pull guard.
Dream is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Carter pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Carter closes the distance but Dream moves to the side
and Dream counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Carter shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dream as he avoids it easily.

Carter went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Dream shoots for a takedown but Carter saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Dream doesn't manage to clinch there - Carter circles away.
Carter displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dream.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Dream.
Dream dives in for a single leg takedown but Carter sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Carter looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
And that's the end of the fight!
Emerald Dream comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Dream has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
