Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gordon Hunter (ranked 3266 p4p, 3414 weight class) and Santino Oliviera (ranked 378 p4p, 401 weight class). Hunter comes to the cage accompanied by King of Curses. Santino Oliviera has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gordon Hunter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Santino Oliviera!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliviera is looking to clinch but Hunter is avoiding it.

Hunter drops back looking for a leg! Oliviera is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Oliviera manages to kick Hunter off! Hunter jumps back into Oliviera's guard.

Oliviera might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hunter haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Hunter bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Oliviera has one of Hunter's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.

That was a close second round but I would say that Gordon Hunter will probably get the nod.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hunter, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
