Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nicholaus Strauss (ranked 660 p4p, 579 weight class) and Manco Capac (ranked 97 p4p, 84 weight class). Capac has chosen Iggy Pop - The Passenger as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nicholaus Strauss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 21 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Manco Capac!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Topper Green and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strauss lands an overhand right.
Strauss throws a series of punches but Capac moves out of range.
Capac keeps the fight on the outside.
Strauss throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Strauss looks to land a right hand but Capac moved out of range.
Capac feints the counter takedown.
Strauss throws a lazy right hand but Capac sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Capac with the counter takedown but Strauss avoids it easily.
Strauss misses with a wild body shot.
Capac uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Strauss.
Capac tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
A right-left combo lands from Strauss.
It looks like Manco Capac has been cut.
Capac gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Strauss.
We've been told by Strauss's head coaches at Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Strauss looks to score with a jab to the body but Capac is just out of range.
Capac feints the counter takedown.
Strauss lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Strauss ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Capac moves away.
Capac tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Strauss misses with a hook.
Capac changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Strauss tests Capac's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Capac is rocked!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Strauss has cracked Capac with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Strauss lands another huge swinging hook and Capac tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Capac, before Strauss can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Nicholaus Strauss!
Nicholaus Strauss tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
