Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iso Paa (ranked 1800 p4p, 2151 weight class) and Karel Sup (ranked 82 p4p, 99 weight class). Karel Sup will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Iso Paa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Karel Sup!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sup waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Paa.
Sup ducks under a wild hook from Paa.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Sup! But no joy.
Paa has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Hidden in the buildup to the fight.
Paa cracks Sup with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Sup gets tackled into the cage by Paa. Paa maintains the clinch.
Sup drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Paa manages to break the clinch.
Sup throws a poor cross that misses
and Paa counters with a left to the body.

Sup closes the distance and clinches.
Sup has a couple of punches blocked by Paa.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sup makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Sup tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Paa tries to throw a body punch but Sup avoids it by throwing Paa back against the cage.

Sup has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Paa seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Sup can turn it around.

You can see the frustration on Sup's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Paa is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Sup defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Sup slips a nice elbow through Paa's hands, connecting with Paa's forehead.

Paa is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sup can do to turn this around?

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
