Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Mo will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Mo takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Mo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Smith counters with a right hand to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mo shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Smith cracks Mo with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Smith walks into a left hand.
Mo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Smith. That did some damage!
Smith scores with a nice strike.
Smith stuns Mo with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Smith's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Mo connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Smith scrambles back to his feet.
A head kick misses from Mo.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Nice defenses there by Smith.
Mo swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Marco Mo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
