Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veiwus goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Veiwus tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kane swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Veiwus feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Kane throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Veiwus was covering up waiting for the punch and Kane finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Kane connects with a good right hand that stumbles Veiwus. Veiwus circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like Promos Veiwus has been cut.
Kane sizes up Veiwus with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Veiwus throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

and Kane makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

so Kane counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Kane wants to control from the top but Veiwus keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kane shoots in looking for a takedown. Veiwus tries to sprawl out of it but Kane keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Veiwus manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Veiwus tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kane sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Veiwus somewhat.
Kane is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kane lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Veiwus has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Veiwus and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Kane scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Veiwus doesn't seem bothered though.

Veiwus tries to keep at a distance but Kane has taken the fight into the clinch.

Kane has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Veiwus clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kane is not going to allow Veiwus to sit and survive in this position.
Oooh a big shot gets through from Kane. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Kane cracks Veiwus with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Veiwus from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kane cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Veiwus is in a horrible position here. Kane smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Veiwus sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Veiwus closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
