PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gordon Hunter (ranked 5146 p4p, 5042 weight class) and Jokubas Antukis (ranked 496 p4p, 490 weight class). Hunter comes to the cage accompanied by King of Curses. Antukis has chosen "Terminator" - Sevendust as his entrance music. Jokubas Antukis will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jokubas Antukis!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hunter throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Antukis was covering up waiting for the punch and Hunter finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Antukis wants to get back to his feet but Hunter passes into half guard.

Hunter is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Antukis looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Antukis wants to control but Hunter is keeping busy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hunter is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Antukis defends it well.
Antukis is in trouble now - Hunter has advanced to mount!
