Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bjorn Haelfson (ranked 2953 p4p, 24654 weight class) and MF Jones (ranked 354 p4p, 538 weight class). Haelfson comes to the cage accompanied by 80/20SKYBEEF. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Jones misses.

Haelfson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Haelfson is looking for a kimura but Jones is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Haelfson to get the leverage.
Haelfson uses his free foot to push down on Jones's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Jones.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bjorn Haelfson.
I think Jones has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
