Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mateo Embry!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Glass and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gregory throws a head kick that misses.
Gregory throws a jab but it's blocked by Embry.
Gregory throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Gregory plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Gregory doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Embry counters by moving into the clinch.
Gregory is looking for a takedown.
Gregory is looking to take this one to the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Derrick Gregory. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Gregory's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Gregory darts in looking for a takedown but Embry gets double underhooks and turns Gregory into the cage.
Embry can't break the clinch.

Embry thuds his right hand into Gregory's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Gregory throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gregory fails with an attempt to clinch.
Embry changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Embry stuns Gregory with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Gregory takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Embry slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Gregory is rocked!

Oh Gregory is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gregory is breathing heavily.
Gregory looks up at the clock. Bad move! Embry lands a right hand from hell, dropping Gregory. Embry pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
