Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jayson Winters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Colton Donaldson!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Ackerman and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Winters shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Donaldson is looking to stand back up but Winters counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Donaldson.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Donaldson is looking for a sweep. Winters is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Donaldson is looking to get back to full guard here but Winters has managed to pass to side control instead.

Winters has control of Donaldson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Donaldson regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Donaldson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Donaldson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Winters. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Winters is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Donaldson can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Donaldson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Winters manages to get himself to full guard.

Winters gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Donaldson to score an easy takedown into full guard.
