Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Oscar Blaydes (ranked 196 p4p, 136 weight class) and Kwasi Kwong (ranked 26 p4p, 18 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Blaydes might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Black Sunshine - White Zombie. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Oscar Blaydes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kwasi Kwong!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Blaydes. Kwong does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kwong misses the jab.
Kwong fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Blaydes manages to avoid it.
Blaydes throws a body punch but Kwong moves out of range.
Kwong takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
A nice leg kick from Blaydes, right into the meat of the thigh.
Kwong loads up on a big right hand but Blaydes slips the punch.
Blaydes lands with an uppercut that bounces Kwong off the cage and back into range.
We've been informed that Kwong has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Blaydes comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Kwong paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
