Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tris Kapula (ranked 2006 p4p, 2211 weight class) and Steve Fish (ranked 274 p4p, 293 weight class). Fish has chosen Harry Slash And The Slashtones - This Is Extreme as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Tris Kapula could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Steve Fish's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tris Kapula !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Steve Fish!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Sosuke Kotani and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kapula throws a lazy uppercut
and Fish counters with a left to the body.
Fish uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kapula .
Fish just misses with a punch to the body.
It looked like Kapula was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Fish.
Fish on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Kapula throws a hook but Fish blocks it.

A nice leg kick lands there from Kapula .
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Fish has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
The crowd cheers as Kapula lands an impressive looking overhand right. Fish doesn't seem phased though.

Kapula is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fish can do to turn this around?

Fish takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Kapula drops Fish with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Fish looks back up at him and smiles so Kapula waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Fish is still on wobbly legs! Can Kapula finish him?
Kapula ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Kapula ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Fish out cold! The fight is over!
