Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Agbay Amiga (ranked 23316 p4p, 23474 weight class) and Rico Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Amiga shoots in but no luck this time.

Salvacion decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Salvacion is taking a breather. Amiga says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Salvacion is thwarting Amiga's attempts to control the position.

Amiga holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Salvacion seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Amiga darts in looking for a takedown but Salvacion gets double underhooks and turns Amiga into the cage.

That was a close second round but I would say that Agbay Amiga will probably get the nod.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Salvacion is trying to trip Amiga. He has hold of a leg but Amiga is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Salvacion persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Well Salvacion has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
