Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bert Newton!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Luis Engracia and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castro misses with a hook. Newton ducked under it nicely.
Castro displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Newton.
Newton closes the distance and clinches up with Castro, looking for a takedown. Newton pushes Castro against the cage but Castro circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Newton sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Newton doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Castro counters with a single leg into guard. Newton didn't expect that.
Castro is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Castro is sitting in close to Newton's body. Newton has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Castro is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Castro is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Newton.
