Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gungo Lumpy!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Floyd throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lumpy was covering up waiting for the punch and Floyd finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Floyd drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lumpy looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lumpy looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lumpy!

Floyd might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Floyd tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lumpy wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Lumpy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Floyd keeps working.

Lumpy decides to stand back up. Lumpy steps back and let's Floyd get back to his feet.

Lumpy takes the fight into the clinch.
Lumpy is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Lumpy successfully pulls guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Floyd drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Lumpy dives on top into guard.

Lumpy wants to control from the top but Floyd keeps moving.
Lumpy looking to pass the guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lumpy is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Floyd has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lumpy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Floyd is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Lumpy frees his head nicely. Oh but Floyd has switched to an armbar! Lumpy is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
