The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from Smithers.
Smithers ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Smithers connects with a jab.
Smithers throws a leg kick that is checked
enabling Dolton to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Carlton Smithers has been cut.
Dolton closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Smithers's guard.
Dolton stands and steps away. Smithers gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Smithers lands a big uppercut and Dolton crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Dolton looks OK. Smithers waves Dolton back to his feet!
It looks like Scott Dolton has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Smithers drops Dolton with a straight right hand, right on the button! Smithers follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

A relieved looking Carlton Smithers thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Scott Dolton spoke after the fight, saying 'It is a joke? Let's start it over again.'.
