Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aboubacar Mandiang (ranked 947 p4p, 856 weight class) and Presley Chai (ranked 115 p4p, 105 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mandiang might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Oliver Twist. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Aboubacar Mandiang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Presley Chai!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chai scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
It looks like Aboubacar Mandiang has been cut.
Chai looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Mandiang pushes Chai off and scrambles back to his feet.
Mandiang darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Chai gets a double leg takedown into Mandiang's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chai throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mandiang works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Chai tries to free his leg and advance position but Mandiang is retaining full guard.
Chai is looking to work some ground and pound but Mandiang has wrist control.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Chai accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Mandiang is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Chai is controlling him.

Chai postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Mandiang lands with an uppercut that bounces Chai off the cage and back into range.
Mandiang looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Chai doesn't manage to clinch there - Mandiang circles away.

Mandiang swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Mandiang needs to keep his hands up - Chai had a free shot at his head there.
Oh, that's a big right hand from Chai and Mandiang goes tumbling to the canvas! Chai follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Chai working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Mandiang pushes Chai off looking to stand but Chai dives back in and keeps control.

Chai takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

After winning the bout, Presley Chai thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
