Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tapad Amiga (ranked 23620 p4p, 23461 weight class) and Rico Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tapad Amiga could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Rico Salvacion's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Salvacion gets a takedown into half guard.
Well, if Salvacion is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Salvacion throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Salvacion follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Amiga is trying to control Salvacion's posture but Salvacion avoids it.
Rico Salvacion has got the better of the ground game so far.
Salvacion is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Amiga will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Amiga fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Salvacion to the ground. Amiga is now in Salvacion's guard.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
