Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cyrus Deangelo Queen (ranked 1194 p4p, 1838 weight class) and Michael Fochi (ranked 162 p4p, 251 weight class). Queen comes to the cage accompanied by Go Hard. Cyrus Deangelo Queen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Queen thuds a left hand into Fochi's body.
Queen shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Nice defenses there by Fochi.
Queen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A slapping leg kick lands for Queen.
Queen tries to score with a low kick but Fochi moves his leg out of the way.
We've been informed that Fochi has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Queen takes a swing at Fochi's ribcage but misses.

and Queen counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Queen fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Fochi has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

A nice side step and Fochi releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Fochi takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Queen defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Fochi's arms.

Queen breaks Fochi's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Fochi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Queen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Queen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Fochi has his foot on Queen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Queen works his way back into a safe position though.

Fochi has a hand on Queen's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Queen takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Queen postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Fochi looks a forlorn figure.

A big strike lands for Queen! That's really hurt Fochi and he's turned his back - Queen keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Queen jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
