Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Prince McVicker (ranked 562 p4p, 628 weight class) and Jay Reepo (ranked 37 p4p, 44 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Prince McVicker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jay Reepo!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reepo tries to clinch there but McVicker circles away.
Reepo jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Reepo closes the distance but McVicker moves to the side
and McVicker counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Nice uppercut there from McVicker.
McVicker steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Reepo. That one must have hurt.
McVicker looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Reepo uses good head movement to avoid the hook from McVicker.
Reepo misses with a wild body shot.
McVicker waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Reepo.

McVicker drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
McVicker looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Reepo is avoiding damage well.

McVicker lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Reepo tries to reverse the position but McVicker maintains control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McVicker can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Reepo is looking to escape.

McVicker is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Reepo is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Reepo felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

McVicker can't control as he wanted to and Reepo manages to get the fight back to his half guard.

McVicker shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Reepo manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

McVicker wants to control but Reepo is keeping him busy.

McVicker is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Reepo has managed to free his arm - good work.

Reepo is refusing to be controlled, as McVicker sits in half guard.

Reepo is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but McVicker pulls his head out easily.

Reepo is trying to push McVicker away but McVicker has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Reepo lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Reepo misses with some punches.
Reepo misses with a shot to the kidneys.
McVicker takes a shot to the head.

Reepo tries to pull guard but McVicker holds him up against the cage and eventually Reepo drops back down to his feet.

I would just about give that final round to Jay Reepo.
I think McVicker has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
