Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jean Paul Savette (ranked 2270 p4p, 3626 weight class) and Hasbulla Magomedov (ranked 159 p4p, 235 weight class). Magomedov is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Roy Jones Jr - Can't be Touched. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magomedov shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Savette defends it nicely.
As Magomedov tries to get set, Savette tries to push him back and clinch up but Magomedov manages to avoid the attempt.

Magomedov darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Savette wants to control but Magomedov is keeping busy and won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Magomedov wants to work for an arm triangle but Savette is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Magomedov shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Savette sprawls well. Savette wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Magomedov gets slowly back to his feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Savette prevents Magomedov from getting the reversal.
Savette will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Magomedov sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Magomedov crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Savette - the referee stops the clock and Magomedov gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Savette. Magomedov manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
