Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Krill Bagginz!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Leandro Rodrigues and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bagginz drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Thorkildsen controls Bagginz momentarily but Bagginz frees himself.
Thorkildsen keeping full guard, as Bagginz tries to pass.
Bagginz trying to control the position from guard on top but Thorkildsen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bagginz is pushing down on Thorkildsen's leg trying to pass to half guard. Thorkildsen is fighting to maintain full guard but Bagginz has managed to sneak the leg through.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thorkildsen won't allow Bagginz to pass to mount.
Bagginz seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Thorkildsen does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Bagginz is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Thorkildsen is just riding it out for now. Bagginz eventually gives up the hold.

Bagginz tries to free his leg and advance position but Thorkildsen is retaining full guard.
Thorkildsen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Thorkildsen is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Thorkildsen is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bagginz is aware though and is defending well.
Bagginz content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Thorkildsen has locked up a guillotine! Thorkildsen's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Bagginz is holding on here and Thorkildsen must be using up a lot of energy. Bagginz has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Thorkildsen gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
