And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Peterson!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Topper Green and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peterson wants to clinch but Hendrix slips to the side
and Hendrix counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hendrix moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Nick Peterson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Peterson swings away with a body shot that misses
and Hendrix counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Hendrix has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Blacktalians MMA in the buildup to the fight.
The fighters circle momentarily. Peterson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Hendrix misses with a jab, cross combination.
Peterson drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Hendrix moves out of range of the strikes.
Hendrix thinks about countering with a body kick.
Peterson scores with a jab to the head.

and Hendrix counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Peterson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hendrix was well out of range. Poor timing from Peterson.
Hendrix walks into a left hand.
Peterson's corner calls for a 1-2. Peterson obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Peterson throws an off balance right hand
and Hendrix counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Peterson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hendrix scores with a crisp jab that stopped Peterson in his tracks.

Peterson is rocked!
Hendrix lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Peterson is looking to close the distance but Hendrix sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Peterson crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Peterson is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
