The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Illya Tyunina and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ness tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Belmiro paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Belmiro avoids the body shot from Ness.
Belmiro is looking to counter the offense by Ness and move into the clinch.

Ness has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Even with his hooks in, Belmiro manages to miss with strikes from the back.

Ness tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Ness takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Belmiro swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Ness is now in Belmiro's guard. A big mistake from Belmiro there, giving up the dominant position!

Ness has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Belmiro to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Ness is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Belmiro pulls down on the head and he's put Ness to sleep! This one is all over!
