Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Malcolm Farquharson (ranked 1377 p4p, 784 weight class) and Michael Holmes (ranked 196 p4p, 127 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Igor Prikhodko and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farquharson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Holmes is fending him off so far but Farquharson persists. Nope, Holmes circles away and we're back to standing.
Farquharson shoots in looking for a takedown but Holmes manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Farquharson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Farquharson manages to get his head free but now Holmes has transitioned to an armbar! Farquharson grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Holmes! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

After winning the bout, Michael Holmes thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
