Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Schwartz Gomez (ranked 884 p4p, 19022 weight class) and Felix Krnacova (ranked 112 p4p, 479 weight class). Gomez comes into the arena with POP SMOKE - GOT IT ON ME blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomez cracks a nice hook into Krnacova's ribs.
Nice takedown defense from Gomez. No joy for Krnacova on that attempt.
Gomez scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Gomez has Krnacova up against the cage in a clinch.
Krnacova is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Gomez to keep the fight standing.
Gomez works on Krnacova's body with a couple of short punches.
I was talking to Gomez's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Gomez comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
It looks like Felix Krnacova has been cut.
Gomez lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Krnacova jumps guard but Gomez stands there with Krnacova around his waist. Krnacova gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Schwartz Gomez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Felix Krnacova.
Gomez manages to break the clinch.
Krnacova ducks right into an uppercut from Gomez.
Krnacova shoots and misses
and Gomez counters with a big right hand! Oh Krnacova is in trouble here! Gomez follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
